about me:
I’m Marvella Castaneda, an Atlanta-based Wine Director and WSET Diploma candidate. My path into wine didn’t start traditionally, I came to it through art. I worked in restaurants but also as a self-taught chalk and lettering artist, and when I moved to Atlanta in 2021, I found myself drawn to wine as both a creative language and a way of connecting with people.
Drawn to Wine is where I bring those worlds together. I use visual notes, illustration, and creative journaling to explore wine in a way that feels intuitive and approachable. This space reflects my ongoing journey in both my career and education. Whether it is studying, tasting, questioning, and sharing wine through multiple learning styles, there is always curiosity at the center.
